Here For You Since 1983

In 1983, a number of individuals who were concerned about the high number of abortions and teen pregnancies in Kings County, gathered together to form a steering committee for the purpose of developing a pregnancy center that could minister to those caught in these circumstances.

As a result of all their hard work, Kings County Crisis Pregnancy Center was born in 1985, working out of a little office suite on Douty street. We moved to our present location in 1989, changing our name in 2002.

During that time, it has been our privilege to serve almost 10,000 clients who have received free confidential and compassionate service.

We are a 501(c)(3) charitable organization and take no government funding, supported strictly by churches and concerned individuals in the community. We upgraded our service, adding the Healing Hearts post-abortion ministry, and in 2004, a parenting program was added. Clients who participate earn the opportunity to shop in our Mommy Store, learning good parenting skills in the process.

Our Mission

As a ministry of local churches, we purpose to bring glory to God by:

1)  Offering biblical counsel to those who seek counsel regarding sexual sin, pregnancy or abortion,

2)  Offering compassionate assistance to clients, and

3)  Disseminating truthful information to clients, churches, and the community concerning the biblical perspective on human life, including sexual and reproductive issues.

Through the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ, we endeavor to present the Gospel to all who come for assistance.
